Overview
Sheets.wtf ("we," "us," "our," or "Service") is a Google Workspace Marketplace add-on that helps users identify and highlight different types of cells in Google Sheets. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Information We Collect
a. Google Sheets Data
When you use Sheets.wtf, we access the content of your active Google Sheet to classify and highlight cell types (hardcoded values, formulas, cross-sheet references, etc.). We do not:
- Store, log, or transmit your sheet data to external servers
- Cache your spreadsheet contents
- Share your data with third parties
All cell analysis happens locally within your Google Sheets execution context.
b. Usage Data
We may collect limited, non-identifiable usage metrics through Google Apps Script logging (e.g., feature usage counts) to improve the add-on. This data does not include your sheet contents or personally identifiable information.
c. Stripe Billing Information
If you purchase a paid plan, you provide billing information directly to Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe handles all payment processing in compliance with PCI-DSS standards. We receive only a confirmation of your subscription status via Stripe webhooks.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Sheet Data: Only to perform cell classification and highlighting as requested
- Billing Information: To process subscription payments and manage your account
- Usage Metrics: To understand feature adoption and improve the Service
3. Data Storage and Security
- Sheet analysis results are stored temporarily in Google Apps Script
PropertiesService (tied to your Google account)
- We do not maintain separate databases of user sheets or data
- Your data remains in your Google Workspace account; we do not duplicate or back it up on external servers
- Google's security standards protect all data transmitted between the add-on and Google's infrastructure
4. Third-Party Services
- Google Workspace: This add-on runs within your Google Workspace environment and uses standard Google Apps Script APIs
- Stripe: Payment processing for paid plans (see Stripe Privacy Policy)
5. Your Rights
- You can uninstall the add-on at any time from your Google Workspace
- You can cancel your subscription in the sidebar settings
- You can request deletion of your Sheets.wtf account data by contacting us (see below)
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
